SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 Syllabus

The SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 has been declared. SSC selects staff for the various posts under the government of India and the PSUs via a written examination which is followed by an interview. This is the basic pattern; however the scheme of things can vary in accordance to the different types of exams and according to the posts for which the absorption is going to take place. Even with so much popularity of the fat pay packets which are considered to be the part and parcel of good private sector jobs, the government jobs have not yet lost their lure. Thousands and thousands of hopefuls sit for the various competitive exams every year in order to ensure their future prospects by landing the government jobs of their choice. If you are one of the candidates who wishes to serve the government of India the Staff Selection Commission examination provides a really golden opportunity. 

The SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 Syllabus is as follows: 
The syllabus of the Tier-I examination

  • The SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 Tier-I exams are to be held on July 1st and 8th
  • Hopefuls will be able to give this SSC examination in either English or Hindi.
  • The duration of the examination is for two hours
  • The questionnaire in the examination is purely of the objective type
  • There are four sections in the question paper which is given in the examination and each of the sections consists of fifty marks each
  • There are .25 negative marks for every wrong answer that is written
  • The first section in this examination contains questions from Reasoning.
  • Then there are questions from Quantitative Aptitude. • The third section contains questions from General Awareness
  • The final section in the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 Syllabus, Tier-I question paper has been designed to test the ability of the candidate in the English language. 


The Syllabus for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam Tier-II and III

  • Only those candidates who have successfully passed the Tier-I in the SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 can go on to the Tier-II
  • The SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2012 Syllabus contains 200 questions each on Quantitative Abilities, Statistics and General English
  • The questions are of objective type and two hours duration is given for the completion of this Tier-II.
  • In the Tier-III of the SSC, there are the Personal Interview, computer test and Personality test and 100 marks are allotted for it.
