SSC STENOGRAPHERS (GRADE ‘C’ & ‘D’) EXAMINATION 2013: Apply Online at www.ssc.nic.in

An official notification has been published by SSC for the stenographers (Grade’C’ & ‘D’) Examination 2013-2014. Those candidates who looking for the Stenographers vacancy, they can apply on the official website www.ssc.nic.in  and also find advertisement in the Employment News Section.

Staff Selection Commission will hold on Sunday, the 29th December 2013, an All India Open Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C‘ ( Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted ) in Pay Band 2 plus Grade Pay as admissible and Stenographer Grade D‘ (Group ‘C’ Non-Technical) in Pay Band 1 plus Grade Pay as admissible in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices.

Last Date to Apply: 26-10-2013 upto 5 P.M.
Examination Fee: 100/- except SC/ST/PH/Ex-Serviceman/Women and other reserved category candidates.
Education Qualification:
Applicants must have passed in 12th standard (Higher Secondary Examination) to be eligible to apply.

Age Limit:  18-27 years as on 01.08.2013.

SSC Grade C Stenographers Limited Departmental Competitive Exam 2013

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on 12.05.2013 at DELHI, ALLAHABAD, MUMBAI, BANGALORE, KOLKATA, GUWAHATI, CHENNAI, CHANDIGARH AND RAIPUR in accordance with the enclosed rules framed and already notified in the Gazette of India by the Department of Personnel and Training vide notification dated 11.05.1971 for making additions to the Select List for Grade ‘C’ Stenographers.

Following Services/Cadres, subject to availability of confirmed number of vacancies:-

1. Central Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
2. Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade-II;
3. Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
4. Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
5. Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
6. Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers service Grade ‘C’;

Age Limit
Max Age: 50 Years of age on crucial date
Upper Age Limit is further relaxable: 5 Years for SC/ST Candidates

Scheme of Examination
The subjects of the written examination and the maximum marks for each subject will be as follows:-

Note I : -Questions relating to General awareness will be set both in Hindi and English. There will be no Question Paper in Braille for Visually Handicapped candidates.
Note II :- The Commission reserves the right to conduct written examination on-line.
Note.III:- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in written examination.
